Competition work for My Finland Poster 2021.

The theme was the Finnish city of Hanko (Hangö). Hanko is a popular holiday destination on the southwestern tip of Finland. It is a classic resort and beach destination but nowadays polular fo anybody wanting to enjoy the fresh breeze of the  sea all year round.

For idea of the poster illustration I focused on Hanko being situated on the coastal line and it's laid back atmosphere with the many possibilities to explore the nature and outdoors.

With the typography I played with the idea of water reflecting the swedish name of the city. I chose a script font for the word "Finland" to highlight the laid back feeling of the overall visual.
